Russia bounty on US troops

You obviously aren't a top military commander...

"Trump said he did not raise the issue of Russian payments to the Taliban in his most recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Critics have said he should have. Senior military officials say they don't believe the intelligence is strong enough to act on."
What would military action look like if proven true?

Try to keep up Hog - GolfBall's analogy was that Democrats were angry about starting a war based on a lack of proof of wmd's but want Trump to quit being Putin's lil bitch based on a lack of certifiable
proof that there were bounties,,, essentially equating war to not being a huge puss.

Focus, kid,,, although I stopped expecting much outta you after you argued Indiana was
a swing state...
Yeah I guess you don’t care about fake intel now if it means owning the bad orange man. You’re still mad Hillary lost. Using fake news to provoke Russia seems like a reasonable response.

Eh, I wasn't crazy about Hillary but i did vote for her. I'm more dismayed about living in a country where 40% of the people are so in love with a turd that facts simply don't matter anymore..

who said it would be military action?

are critics calling on Trump to take a military strike against Russia?
The hell Obama got for saying knock it off with unproven intel as being weak by the peanut gallery should be noted. Trump is weaker on Russia than Obama. Who knew?

Hmm, I think you have me confused with someone else but no matter. You've demonstrated what you are.

interesting - so it hasn't been proven that Russia tried to interfere in the 2016 election? good to know

Is the irony not lost on you posting that in this thread?

Ha, yeah Putin "strongly denied" that in Helsinki so Trump naturally took his side over American intelligence...

"Trump said he did not raise the issue of Russian payments to the Taliban in his most recent meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Critics have said he should have. Senior military officials say they don't believe the intelligence is strong enough to act on."

Echoing comments in July by Gen. Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, McKenzie said that if he could establish that the Russians were offering payments to kill Americans, he would push to forcefully respond. But the intelligence is far from conclusive, he said.

So Trump is following the advice of the military commanders; not critics
You have military officials saying that they don't believe the intelligence is strong enough to act upon. Fine, but how the hell do you not even raise the subject at all? And Trump was inconsistent on this. He said that he would have done something if this intel had reached his desk... but he is obviously aware of it now... and still, nothing. Trump clearly doesn't want to ever engage Putin on matters of Russian hostility. Trump has always looked very weak on Russia. Suspiciously so.

This is diplomacy to you? We don't know if you did this yet but on the assumption you did - cut it out. If you didn't, forget we had this conversation.

On the record: The U.S. administration’s actions on Russia
