I doubt if a professionally written article would ever refer to a coach just by his first name.

Not looking good for Montgomery. He is a need, but it looking like he is slowly becoming an LSU lock. I want to hear what he has to say after we visited him yesterday too tho.

Asked to give an updated pecking order, Montgomery listed "LSU, North Carolina and Tennessee."

per rivals, still coming on his visit though.

he is visiting there this weekend, but it kind of sounds like he isnt going in with a very open mind. talks about how far away from home it is.

Montgomery and his family had a day full of visits on Thursday. LSU, Clemson, and Tenn all came to his home.
His mother already knew the rumors about Lane leaving via the internet and other "sources" but Lane did man up and stated the obvious himself while introducing Haley as his replacement.
Clemson came with their big guns also, their head coach and new hire Steele, both as well as Rumph were impressive.
Last but not least came Tenn, Kiffin and O. Montgomery knew nothing of either of them as he knew none of the other coaches until he met them. Both left an impression, but his mother did say Coach Reeves had singlehandly put Tenn on their list and had "sniped" some of the other teams ahead of them.
At the end of the day............. LSU/Tenn were on the top, but officials will make or break them and the instates will get one last unofficial during the week.
No, I'm not Sam but I am in the camp. I'll be one of the guys in the back of the picture on NSD:hi:

I believe that even Sam has no idea where he is going but it looks as if LSU has fallen a little bit. It could become a Tiger Vol Tarheel Gamecock race. Of course he is saying that he likes Michigan now.He claims that Michigan may be his favorite now but I expect that to change.
