That’s fair. I think it’s also not unreasonable to expect our freshman and rising sophomores to make an impact. That’s been a pretty consistent trend with Barnes. Aidoo and ZZ in 2021, Awaka and soph Mashack in 2022. I’m fully expecting Dillone, BJ, Jefferson Carr and either Estrella or Cade to make an impact in 2023. I see your point about proven depth thoughI’m just worried about the health, and how the hold up over the season, that’s all.
Absolutely because you already know what you have in JJJ and we haven't had much luck in the transfer portal. But BTO says it's not happening and he is usually reliable.Given the choice, I think I’d rather roll the dice on JJJ being healthy than on someone from the portal being an impact player.
Not that either of us gets a choice.
Dude…This feels like when Fulky came back that last time. It was time to hang it up by then. I dunno. I was hoping to give some new blood those minutes and see what they can do, but I guess the devil you know and all that.
Hopefully we can spend the off season getting almost the entire team HEALTHY! Was a major issue this past season.
Hey, so long as players are returning....Skylar McBee?I think that they pretty much work out together nearly year round. So the biggest issue with ZZ’s knee might be that the players won’t be able to get court time with him at full speed until the season begins. That especially could put integration of the freshmen behind schedule.
