Sark to the Falcons

Well, that's pretty lame. At least it came after NSD.

I wonder if this wasn't a known possibility. Mike Locksley had been named "co"-offensive coordinator, which Saban had never done before.

Goofy could have been named the OC after Kiffin and Bama would have still signed the top class.

Be interesting to see what Saban comes up with. Its not like he's gonna have to look too hard.

Rumors here are around Derek Dooley, Tee Martin, and Chip Kelly.

Kiffin and Sarkasian ended up moving forward and that would appeal to Dooley.
Martin is from Alabama and it would rub more salt in the UT wound.
Kelly is probably too high strung for Saban but who knows?

I truly enjoy the fact that Sark showed up at undefeated Bama and helped them lose the natty. Ended his career with an 0-1 record. That's borderline VFL in my book!

Apparently their relationship went sour and a source told BR that Saban saw another Kiffin issue looming.

I think it sucks that Sark is wanting to give interviews about "inner dealings" at Bama, especially since Saban gave him a job after he was fired for being a repeat drunk...

We just want an OC with a 5* heart.

I don't mind. :)

Seriously, how does that joyless a$$hole get anyone to agree to work for him? And before any of you say "it's great for the resume," There are PLENTY of other major programs in the country where a coach can go and build a great reputation.

You get paid well at Bama, and you're all but guaranteed a step-up job offer within 3-4 years, tops. It's not terribly complicated.

But like I said, there are plenty of other major colleges in the country where a coach can do the exact same thing, all without having to endure such a totalitarian dick.

Name some of those programs. The most productive coaching trees are Saban's and Meyer's. Both are gigantic dicks.

After that it's Stoops, who is less of a dick than Saban and Meyer, but still very much a dick.

It's a long way down to 4th place on the list of coaching trees.
