If the initial reports that Pat Hayden offeren coach O to be the top paid assistant to stay at USC, then this hire would make sense. Looks like Pat is trying to get the gang back together.

Neuheisel has never been the right hire for anyone. Washington trended down and so did Colorado and UCLA after his hires. That's why he didn't last long anywhere.

Do you have any idea how bad Washington was when he took over? The five years prior to his arrival they won just 12 games and the talent level was beyond awful.
