I understand that Armstrong wanted USC to wait until after Vandy's bowl game, but Haden wanted to move now.

A program like USC can do better than Sarkisian as its head coach. He'd be a home run offensive coordinator, but he's not proven much at UW, and that school puts a lot of resources into its football program.

USC just hired Steve Sarkisian from Washington. I personally hope Franklin stays at Vandy. I hate him. It makes November more interesting.

Franklin's got a good thing going for himself at Vandy. He gets to coach in the SEC but without the pressures of an unrealistic fan base. If he continues his current success at Vandy he will eventually land a plum job outside of the SEC. His move will probably happen a year from now when the coaching dominos fall after the retirement of Mack Brown and the firing of Muschamp. He won't end up at either of those two schools but rather at one of the schools whose coaches go to Texas or Florida.

He will be gone sooner rather than later. He is upset about lack of fan support. The Wake Forest game attendance was the last straw.

I think a few programs are gunshy on hiring him because of the possible allegations related to the rape incident. He needs his name to get cleared.

I expect Manziel to have a smidge longer career as a pro that Tee Martin. That, and I doubt he'll ever have the desire to coach football.
