Saw a player today at the Walmart

The only thing more stupid than the original post was the debate about the dog shooting...This thread should be in the showcase of the Stupid Volnation Threads Hall of Fame...

It's the off season....lol!

What is the rule for having dogs in the back yard in a fenced area and they start barking at night possibly keeping the neighbor's awake if they have their windows open in this fine spring weather? I am learning alot here!

No sweet love...yet! LOL! You have made me stop and think about that. It is one of those things I saw my dad do probably 5-6 times when I was growing up. So I just assumed it was ok.

But after thinking about what you had to say, admittedly I wouldn't shoot my own dog for pooping in my yard or in the neighbor's yard.

Tell you what...I have since moved from the rural 5 acre place. I now live in a subdivision. So I won't be shooting any more dogs with my BB gun.

How about squirrels? Can I shoot at squirrels to keep them from getting on my roof and possibly into my attic to make noise at night?
I'm not your dad lol. You don't have to ask me. I like squirrels, but there's not much harm in that.

looking at BB gun pistols............. I wondered if I should even mention this but then decided, yes, I will. The player shall remain unnamed and I said nothing to him and I did not wait around to see if he bought anything. Now I am a firm believer in the 2d Amendment, and I own several pistols, but doggone it, if the player thinks he needs a bb gun that looks like the real thing, what the F are they into over there? If it is just for fun, that can wait until after they graduate don't you think? Just not the right place to be.

So you obviously saw a black player at walmart buying a bb gun and assumed he was up to no good. Thanks for letting us know about this important development. I look forward to reading more about this. Seriously who f'n cares if he is buying a bb gun. I had one when I was 10. They can be fun to shoot squirrles with. If he shoots somebodys eye out that we can all come back to this thread. Even if it was a real gun we have rights to own one for protection.

when I was growing up there was a cat that would get in my grandfathers trash cans..he had a detached garage. this is in teh day when you had those metal trash cans, so he ran an electrical line to it to keep the cat off of it

Ok - The Professor finds that all of you have fallen short. Therefore, I will assign all of you posting grades of between C-'s and F+'s. For those posters too young to be enrolled in school, you get timeout.

What I was trying to do was invite debate. The situation just struck me as one that would have resulted in the Cuonzo laser-beam-gum-chewing-stare-of-death for the player.

For those in this babbling gaggle of troglodytes who struggle with abstract thought, here's the idea: basketball player's are ambassador's of the University. Therefore, perception reflects upon not only the player, but the University at large. Hence, there is a difference between myself and a UT basketball player - I am only a lowly member of the intellectually elite academia. However, the actions of a player can damage his image and the image of the University. Therefore, the player must be more cautious and thoughtful about what he does in public.

Maybe I won't go back to that Walmart - its selection of cravat's was somewhat paltry.

Intellectually elite? Your indiscriminate use of poor grammar betrays you, dear. Come back when you learn the difference between a contraction, singular/plural and a possessive.

BB guns....shock collars....rifles....shotguns....all pretty good dog training or dog eliminating methods.

Didn't realize players weren't allowed to LOOK at toy guns, let's hope it's not a secondary violation.

You have to be kidding me dude. Shooting a dog with a BB gun.

You still have not defined the term "dog abuse." Do it.

Can one dog "abuse" another when he bites it to control it? Is that different from a bb gun that leaves no wound or lasting pain?

if it hasn't said, it's none of mine, yours or anyone elses business.

Probably headed to pilot afterwards.

No worries unless we drive 80s model Haundai's. Everyone knows thats the folks you wanna rob. That still puzzles me why Nuke and the gang picked those poor bums. Well I guess wealthy folks with Beamers aren't out at 3 am. So nevermind answered my own question.

There are so many questions that I would like to have answered about that ordeal. SMH. It is pretty hilarious looking back though. Maybe Steve Miller can write a song about it one day.. "go on take the burger and run"
