BB guns are great for training dogs...especially your neighbor's. they quit barking and sh--ing in your yard right now. Then whenever you open a window they run away. :machgun::post-4-1090547912:

I like to think of myself as more of an animal trainer. Sort of a Cesear of the BB gun, only my method is faster.

Alaska is exactly right here! One little pop on the hind end, scares the dog to move onto another yard, doesn't hurt him, neighbor never knows the diff, dog learns quickly....BB gun is a great thing for that!

Heck, if it was Tatum buying, there is only a 21.7% chance he will hit anything with it.

I absolutely agree that the dog would probably not get hurt, but it's still sick and I'm fairly sure it's illegal.

Perhaps inside city limits illegal. I am talking in a rural area on a 5 area lot.

Does it really make a difference if you're shooting your neighbor's dog? It's not a stray/wild. I don't see how it's not animal abuse (unless dog was threatening to attack).

Apparently you have never stepped out into your yard into a pile of the neighbor dog's pile of crap...or walked out to leave for work in the morning to find the neighbors dog standing beside your tipped over trash can with garbage from the past week strewn all over your yard. I would recommend stepping up from the BB pistol to a nice fully automatic airsoft gun...then it becomes really fun.

I have a dog and several neighbors with dogs. I have stepped in many piles. Frustrating, yes. Do I want to freaking inflict pain on a neighbor's dog with a BB gun? F*** no. That's just unreasonable and doesn't solve anything.

If I witnessed this scenario I would place a call and email to the head coach. He can ask the players the motives.

I just don't like the idea of assaulting someone else's dog if they're NOT threatening your well being. I would flip s*** if someone shot my dog because of that. That's grounds to use my .40 on the person with the BB gun.

I think I may have to stay away from VN until July or August. These are getting worse by the day. Who the hell cares what this player was doing at Walmart, as long as he isn't breaking any laws. I had a couple of my own BB guns by age 10. I have a Sig Sauer 9mm now. I'm a big boy. So is this player. I can't tell if the OP is trolling or just dumb.

It is against the law to just let the dog run loose around the neighborhood. Also the BB gun isn't doing any damage at all to the dog. I would rather somebody shoot my dog once with a BB fun than them calling the animal catcher and him and come get my dog.

Exactly. Why exacerbate the situation by using a BB gun?

You know damn well you can fire on a person if they're threatening your dog's life. I would never EVER EVER EVER want to shoot anyone, but using a BB gun on a non-threatening dog is sick and completely unnecessary. Why not use the hose or a water gun if you must shoot them? Super Soaker makes some SICK guns.

I'm not saying I would shoot the dog, all i'm saying it's I would rather my dog be shot one time with a little bb than be taken off to the pound.

Gotcha, FTR, I don't think it's completely unreasonable to do that, but I do think it's wrong and completely unnecessary.

Good debate, everyone. :hi:

Maybe you will have to give us your definition of "animal abuse". I just ate some bacon. Is that pig abuse?
