Sure collecting guns can be a hobby. Having to shoot someone in self defense isn’t. I can collect stamps as a hobby but putting one on a piece of mail to have delivered isn’t. Regardless it’s irrelevant when we have a fundamental right that SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

A busted pipe is what led to the uncontrolled flow of water. Cutting off the flow of water is an obvious step to take when fixing the busted pipe. Once the pipe is fixed allowing you once again to adequately control the flow of water, you turn the water back on.
How detailed do you guys need it to be spelled out?

The interesting part is "why the pipe broke?" Isn't being asked. In his analogy, he didn't even get to the point of repairing it, much less figuring out how to keep it functioning after he did.

Someone broke the law today with a tool that could be lethal and paid for it with their life. The gun isn’t the problem. It’s a political tool. Nobody is talking about the kid last week that was killed trying to run over a cop. Now if he would have had a gun it would be a disaster.
