School Shooting in Knoxville

Sure collecting guns can be a hobby. Having to shoot someone in self defense isn’t. I can collect stamps as a hobby but putting one on a piece of mail to have delivered isn’t. Regardless it’s irrelevant when we have a fundamental right that SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

Amendments are people too.

Several posters are going to look like real morons once details of this are released. I know what's been going on around AE for the past several months and roughly what went down today.

It really would be best if everyone sits tight, says a prayer for the victim(s) and families, and avoids starting a political/gun control conversation.
They will never criticize what the actual issues are here because it’s “racist”

lol......
A busted pipe is what led to the uncontrolled flow of water. Cutting off the flow of water is an obvious step to take when fixing the busted pipe. Once the pipe is fixed allowing you once again to adequately control the flow of water, you turn the water back on.
How detailed do you guys need it to be spelled out?
And when your pipe bursts again, I'm sure we will hear more about water "control" (post flood) instead of why your pipe continues to fail.

At least you now have a goofy plumbing analogy to litter the board with. Congrats. I suppose.

Somebody said gun ownership is a hobby and got some negative responses. I feel its a pot that needed to be stirred.
I just don’t see the relevance to the 2a.
The gun control goobers don’t actually care about the real problem of mental health. We have a serious problem in this country with mental health and nobody is addressing it. They use it for political capital when something like this happens but say nothing when the deaths happen without a gun.
And the deaths are piling up most don’t involve a gun and nobody says ****.

A lot of the country, like EL, is sick of the indifference and avoidance from meatheads who can’t be inconvenienced concerning their hobbies enough to care about what’s happening.
So which one of us here who has guns is responsible for this? I can't speak for anyone else, but I know none of mine were used. I highly doubt anyone else here has a gun that was used. Maybe, just maybe the shooter is responsible, instead of us legal gun owners?

Why the pipe fails is of upmost concern.

While this is the logical idea, liberal nuts in here dont use logic.

The pipe is failing in this country because most parent(s) are absolutely atrocious at raising children. No amount of gun control is going to change that.
I desperately want to address why the pipe is failing. In fact, I've actually been addressing it for the past 45 years.

No you havent, failed gun control laws have nothing to do with the pipe bursting. Try raising children with dignity and respect for others. Bring back actions having consequences. **** started rolling down hill when parents decided it was better to be friends instead of parents.

The op was highlighting the lunacy of the gun nut argument.....quite well.

it doesn't do that.

If guns are the water in the analogy and gun violence is the burst pipe then it's ludicrous to turn off everyone's water to fix one person's pipe.

If anything, it points out the lunacy of the gun grabber argument. If no one has water coming to their house then we don't have to worry about burst (bursted or bursteded) pipes. Amirite?
