SCOTUS fails to stop TX abortion law.

I’m sure SCOTUS appreciates the sitting President over ruling their authority. It’s great to have a functioning government again with each branch respecting the division of and respect for the others authority.

He thinks he is a dictator. Gets mad when anyone questions his authority or decisions.

Abortion is so engrained in our culture and we don’t regularly see the gruesome nature of abortions so most people don’t understand how evil this truly is.

The GOP has used abortion to rally its membership for four decades. You are surprised that as the pendulum swings the other way the Dems are going to do the same thing?

John McWhorter makes a quite convincing argument that the extreme woke/anti-racism crowd share the same characteristics you see in the far religious right hence the Taliban

I'd argue Antifa fits the mold as well. Indoctrination, driven by core ideals and infidels must be punished.

Extreme is extreme even if they are the extreme version of your team.
jOhN mCwHoRtEr MaDe…ok so did some random person making a meme, it’s not hard or clever

This meme is completely false. But nice work though.

Holy cow this meme is beyond stupid

The point, for those who struggle with these things, was that if you would honestly describe an argument that the other side is the Taliban as "convincing", you probably aren't thinking too clearly

Gotta love the fear mongering that comes from the WH. Joe's good at spreading the fear ....

The mark of the beast.

I only say this because apparently there is a threatening remark from Beijing Biden as well toward the Supreme Court.

Nope, still not a man's issue...Man goes through ZERO of the potential life altering/threatening effects of pregnancy, so he has no say in the matter.

Respect your opinion, but just curious, if there are no “life altering/threatening effects” at what time during the pregnancy would you say is the deadline for an abortion?

Are you saying the Dems haven't used abortion to rally it's membership? There's a reason it's called a wedge issue, the wedge works in equal force in both directions.

Again? When was this ever the case?

No, because there are an awful lot of republicans that won't favor laws like this and are in favor of a woman's right to choose. The Rs are making the same mistake Ds make when they let the far left hold court. The Rs currently back the far right religious wing nuts and it will cost.

ALL abortions are “gruesome” in nature, and for that matter, evil?

No I'm saying the branches have been trying to grab more power for themselves going back to Marbury v. Madison
Ok fair enough then. I think it’s considerably worse in the modern era but I’ll agree they are basically a bunch of interlopers in each other’s sand box.

I don't "like" abortion or really agree with it at all, it's just not my issue.

I agree I dont either, but I do have issues as a Christian man with it being legal, pushed and politicized in another way to divide us, and the selling of the baby parts. I include it with all the other issues I hate to see our government trying to “transform“ America.

Removing an ectopic pregnancy is medically an abortion procedure. Watch some overzealous chuckle turn in a woman who is already dealing with intense emotional and physical pain have to go to court because of this law.

From one friend, who named the child she lost to an ectopic pregnancy and had a memorial ceremony for him as well:

"So, SCOTUS and the State of Texas think I should have died three years ago.

Cool, cool, cool

Edited to add: I requested my remaining tube be taken out during my emergency c-section with ---------- so that I wouldn’t be at risk from laws like this, and they refused to do it. I just have to hope my IUD doesn’t ever fail." …l.

I respect you're opinion, but it's legitimately a woman's health issue, and one's faith should never influence policy.
