SCOTUS fails to stop TX abortion law.

In terms of abortion, it's not up to me to define.
It is though. You are advocating for it. Are you advising that you advocate for something that aren't even able to fully define?

Or are you saying that there's a disagreement on what makes a human a human and due to that disagreement, you'll lean with the option that 100% guarantees at least one death?

You sanctimonious sh*tbirds should be thankful for abortion. I would have spawned a score of mini Dink's without it.

You know, there's probably a middle ground in all of this that makes sense, but like everything else nowadays, we'll never get there.
I offered one. It was denied. Probably because most people don't even know why they favor abortions.

That's a lot of women with poor judgement....

Referring to the being with you part. :)

You may be right, but I think it's that most people are conflicted with abortion as birth control. There is a real ethical factor many are not comfortable with, even on the left.

It would be nice if both sides acknowledged that the other has a point. May not agree with it, and may think no matter how valid the other side's concerns your side has the better point. Just saying it would have been nice to have people speak WITH one another than YELL at each other.

But as we have discussed here in other contexts ad nauseam, when it comes to political divide in this country there are a lot of people making a lot of money by convincing its constituents that they must be ruthless and unrelenting in their contempt of the other.

I'm not advocating for abortion, I'm stating that pregnancy has real potential risks involved, risks that males don't face, and that this is strictly a woman's issue....I probably shouldn't have said that some people don't view a packet of cells as human life, that was my mistake.

But as, I'm assuming, a penis haver such myself, I'm simply stating you really shouldn't have any real input on the matter, it's just not a male's issue.

Having risk in something doesn't provide the license to kill as illustrated by your refusal to allow me to get rid of you for maybe having covid. I don't think it takes having a uterus to advocate for the babies that have zero say in living or dying.

I've even conceded the pregnancies that may lead to the mother's death. Yet.. for some reason that isn't enough. Why?

Also, how dare you assume my gender. It's 2021. Men can get pregnant these days.

Honestly, I'm not pro-abortion, but I am pro-choice. It is a woman's body. It should be her choice. Same way I view masks and vaccines. Freedom to choose. I don't think government money should fund abortions. When it's purely elective, I don't even think insurance should cover it. I also think anyone under 18 should not be allowed to get one without parental consent. But at the end of the day, I think it should be a legal procedure, and not outlawed.

I abhor the practice of abortion but disagree with outlawing it up until the child is viable outside the womb (no I don't know when that is). But I do think the practice should be treated as any other elective/outpatient surgery.

IMO staunch anti-abortion for any reason or at any time people that support the death penalty or not working to facilitate adoptions are hypocrites.

I don't know what to tell you, chief...As I've said before, my personal opinions on the matter are not relevant and I'm just stating facts.

Fact number one: Even healthy pregnancies carry a certain risk up until the moment the child is born, checked, and given a completely clean bill of health, and the same with the mother.

Fact number two: No man has, or ever will, deal physically with fact number one.

I'm not sure how many different ways I can say it isn't a man's issue.

Well you’re presenting your opinions as facts anyway. I’d agree to that.
