I’m personally opposed to the idea of abortion as a birth control method but It’s not my right to force my personal views on others. That being said, this is one of the most stupid laws I’ve ever seen. How can a random person be entitled to sue someone concerning this issue? Makes zero sense to me
I do in fact. In a non binary case it’s the highest of the brackets accounted for. A plurality candidate would receive no clear majority but the highest percentage as compared to the rest. The article listed the binary pro-life/pro-choice as 40/41%. All I pointed out is it isn’t that simple. If anything you tried to take a binary comparison and push it as a plurality most supported case available. That isn’t correct.
Edit: I clarified my reply via coloring for you. That is most likely presented in a format you can better absorb. There all better.
It actually is. Look at my replies on this. If you followed Texas politics much while you were here you’d see this is classic Texas. Also look at my replies I’m not a fan of it. But I am getting a good chuckle out of it on the stress that it’s causing.
Damn… I even colored it for you and everything. Unrestricted abortion does not have broad support in Texas (and won’t in my lifetime). You’re just doing your usual bull ****.Of the options presented, the plurality choice--i.e., the position with the most support--was unrestricted choice. If you wanna sum and compare different positions--which is not what plurality means--Texans are strongly in favor of some form of choice.

And for the forth time abortion is still legal in Texas.
It is clearly not when factoring in all opinions. No that isn’t plurality. But the clear majority opinion in Texas is hard no on unrestricted abortion.Where there are multiple options (as in an election between 4 candidates or a poll with multiple options), the one with the "plurality" is the one that got the most votes/selections, even if it is less than an absolute majority. Unrestricted choice was the most popular option--i.e., the one with the plurality of support--in Texas. Just take the L and move on. You didn't know what the word meant.

Hey just like the jab dude. People are allowed to do what they want. Abortion is still 100% legal. They just have to be ready to accept the consequences of their choice.
Lol if there is going to be any strain and injury here it will be you on trying to poke fun at something I’ve already laughed at myselfI was just making a joke at your responses. Don't look into it too much and hurt yourself.
After I state back to you exactly what plurality was and point out you are misrepresenting the majority view in Texas (unrestricted abortion is most definitely not broadly supported) I have to take the L.Take the L and move on.
Links to scotus filings:so what was the Constitutional issue that merited SCOTUS taking this up?

It is stupid stuff like this that will cause the Rs to lose votes across the country. I don't think it is enough to counter Biden's blunders, but in the long run crap like this is not good for the Republicans. They are catering to the religious right and nothing can motivated Ds to vote like the "Moral Majority" unless it's Donald Trump.
