More control than anything. The vast majority of conservative men in favor of more and more restrictions on abortion are the same ones who bitch about women having jobs, being independent, not staying in the kitchen, etc.

The similarities between far right conservatives and radical islam are very significant. The proposed rights and roles of women, and who ultimately gets to tell them how to live their lives, is an ideology that both relish.

There is no baby in the womb it is her fetus. Her fetus is clearly part of her. It belongs to her as much as her arms and legs. If she dies the fetus dies just like the rest of her. The government has no right to take over or claim control of her body or any part of it. To take control of a person against their will is kidnapping.

Many men have chosen to flee when a baby is born. Yet I see no laws being enacted that restrict a man's ability to abandon their child.
