UK not having a good year recruiting?
Posted via VolNation Mobile

They're very rarely in early top 25 class rankings. The majority of the guys that they sign are top 20, and most of those guys tend to wait until spring to committ. Therefore at this time UK only has one committment, but just like every other year, expect many more and expect them in the top 5.

BTW...I had mentioned awhile back that we should be rooting for UK to get the Harrison twins because if they didn't they'd likely push for hubbs. Well now that hubbs is all VOL, definitely hope for Maryland to pull the Harrison twins.

Assuming, of course, that Hubbs wouldn't have a change of heart if UK came after him heavily. In recruiting, nothing is certain until the name is on the dotted line.

Their parents want them at Maryland.(they went there apparently) They personally want to come here. Everyone seems to believe their decision is based upon which midnight madness they go to...They're coming to Rupp!!!
I wont get my hopes up but its lookin good.:)

When it was said that they'd be attending marylands midnight madness everyone said oh that's meaningless, doesn't mean one way or another.

Now that they've decided to attended Kentuckys midnight madness it means they're UK bound?

JMO but I dont think it's as simple as that.

Well im not gonna get my hopes up...but i've got a pretty good feeling we're favored. A lot of it depends on what our back court ends up doing after this year. If Goodwin and Harrow leave, our chances increase. If not, well i dunno.

Uhm that's kind of a dumb statement seeing as how the twins will be announcing before the season even begins????

And fwiw they've yet to decide which midnight madness they'll attend.

Yea i also saw that they were suppose to announce before November. If so that would be great but like so many other recruits i can see them changing their dates. Every year it seems like a lot recruits strings coaches along.

Edit: Yes im not certain they'll for sure come to our midnight madness. I said that off of Aarons tweet.
"I think I'm going to Kentucky's Midnight Madness on Oct 12. It looks like that."

No they've already set an official date, they're down to 2 schools, no need to string things along. They'll be announcing October 29th, before the season even starts, and like I said theyve still yet to decide which midnight madness they'll be attending. The father and Andrew cleared things up, and in an article today they've said they're still undecided. Zagoria says he's told it's Maryland, so depending on who you believe there ya go.

Someone needs to hurry up with some dirt on Cal. This is starting to get ridiculous.
