There can be no sports without TV.
There can be no TV without advertisers.
Boycott the advertisers that support this kind of crap and let them know why and this stuff WILL stop fast.
The silent majority must vote with their wallets. Dollars speak louder than any riots or political agendas.
Maybe he is right, we are too stupid to do anything but take it.
So you are going to help perpetuate the myth that it takes a college education to be "smart" or successful?
Education has much too much become indoctrination.
Where I live now is by far the best. I don't know where you live... but I live in an area with very low crime and some of the best white tail hunting in the US. People make a place though... and the folks here are neighborly, hard working, honest, etc. Just really good folks not unlike those where I grew up.I am not trying to question your career choices here man but your list of cities seems to get worse with every promotion.
What's next stop? Portland then Minneapolis then NYC?
Now compare the population percent by people of color. What wallets? Here are the top 10 poorest states.
- Mississippi
- New Mexico
- Louisiana
- West Virginia
- Alabama
- Kentucky
- South Carolina
- Arkansas
- Tennessee
- North Carolina
7/10 of those states are on the least educated list.
Stupid and poor is no way to go through life.
7 of those 10 states had very agrarian-based economies for a very long time. With mechanization the rural parts of those states got left behind and that continues to be a reason today why they are still poor. Just take a drive through rural areas in the South - there are so many of them that technology just left behind. If you're poor, you likely aren't going to get a great education, and if you do have means you probably leave the state for your education and career (brain drain). There are areas in the south with a very upwardly mobile, educated, and more wealthy population - look at Atlanta, Charlotte, Nashville, etc. What wallets? Here are the top 10 poorest states.

Just before we moved from Georgia almost 20 years ago, a study came out comparing Georgia's high school performance to Ohio. The non-black kids were on par with each other. Someone is bound to call that "racist"... but facts aren't racist. They're just facts. I believe GA black kids have improved their performance since then. Now compare the population percent by people of color.

We've been here about 20 years. There are places I would consider moving to... but this is a really good place to live. I don't ever want to live in a city or suburb again. But of the ones we've lived in... Chicagoland was actually the best.
Are most smart people dirt poor?
