That is despite red states carrying a grossly disproportionately higher % of blacks and Hispanics (primarily Democrat constituents) which are boat anchors on both educational and economic indicators. And crime.

I dislike bringing politics into this, but this is all about the election. Some politicians and administrators are cowering to the mobs and lawyers to shut everyone down. Science shows that players get over the virus quickly and vulnerable people are more protected because affected players are closely monitored and quarantined if they have contacts or symptoms. I won't watch the NBA. There are places I won't shop. I am torn between supporting NFL teams that do not allow their players to kneel and just avoiding it altogether.
