FYI FOR DISH CUSTOMERS

To be sure you are getting the game in your area go to dish.com and sign in to your account. Then click the game finder option on the left side of the screen. Search by your account number which is already filled in. You can narrow it down to football and do a search for tennessee arkansas. It will pull up the Tennessee Arkansas ST game and show you what package you need to view it, what channel it is on and whether or not it is blacked out in your area.

So I just talked to some idiot for Direct TV could barley speak English, he kept saying the game was blacked out in my area ( I live in Murfreesboro) and he kept trying to explain to me what it meant for a game to be blacked out. He also said that someone else had bought the rights in my area to show the game and DTV wouldn't be able to show it. (Why in the world is there an SEC network if some games are blacked out, and they are selling the rights to show the game) Okay so then I asked why I didn't have channel 611-1 the alt. channel and he said some viewers don't get that channel? So I just hung up because he just kept saying there was nothing he could do about it and it wasn't DTV'S fault............ So does anyone know if the game is actually blacked out for Direct TV? And why don't I have channel 611-1. I know a lot of people have said that the channel will show up on game day, but where did you get this info from?

SIAP but for charter customers: channel 803 is the SEC alternate channel that will be broadcasting the UT game.

I know the three SEC channels were mentioned on Uverse already but they also have an SEC Network interactive channel on 1498.

The game will be on the overflow channel.. personally instead of messing with TV channel's I just watch on WatchESPN...That way I do not have to watch all of the idiotic commercials.
