Senators set to vote on bill to codify Supreme Court’s same-sex marriage protections

So not the actual majority opinion, or even the opinion of the minority…but rather the opinion of 1 justice?
Is that not important? It isn't like there are 150 Supreme Court Justices. In a group of nine, one opinion definitely matters.

I’d argue that gay people are sick of having the religious right and the rights Fed up interpretation of sin shoved down their throats.
But I digress
What about folks like myself, which can't stand both groups and just want to be left alone without any of it shoved in my face? Guess I'm s.o.l. which is why I can't stand both sides equally

Pick a lane man.

Don't lament and grouse about the .gov inserting itself into the conversation and then try to hide behind it.

Wth are you even talking about? Get the government out of it. If they don’t it shouldn’t change what it is currently. Adding more handouts to the dole is stupid regardless of a few mentally ill folks feelings.

I'm curious, how exactly do you think granting the rights of marriage to gay couples diminish the existing rights of heterosexual couples?

Specifically.

That's a lie.

Marriage already exists and nobody is wanting to change it aside from getting government involvement out of it. There are plenty that don’t want to redefine it to coddle feelings regardless if government is involved or not.

What rights do they not have considering marriage isn’t a right?
