Severe Weather Thread

The only ingredient left for this system is instability. Severe weather can still occur without sunlight but if we get any, it can get very bad.

Models are all coming together with the same scenarios

Largest potential for strong tornadoes will be West TN, North Mississippi, Middle TN, and Alabama

The Torcon will likely be raised to 8 or higher in these areas. All the ingredients are in place for a very significant weather event.

Keep a close eye to the weather. This is likely to be a very dangerous situation

Got a lot of ice on the ground... nearly slipped on the sidewalk and fell in front of a bus just walking a block. Supposed to carry into tomorrow and then pummel us with 4-8" of snow Saturday night into Sunday. Gonna be good fat bike riding on Sunday.

If this rain holds together and the clouds stay out, the severe threat will diminish greatly. Looking more like its going to be a heavy rain and flooding event
