Stay safe today everyone. Yesterday marked the 3 year anniversary of the tornado outbreaks here. Before then, I never paid that much attention to tornado warnings, but after going through that, I will never look at it the same again. Praying for the best.

Tornado Warning for Shelby County, Haywood County in Tn

This is doppler indicated and if its actually a Tornado, its likely to be weak. Its embedded within the squall line and can't get as strong as a Tornado in a supercell

Still, take caution and prepare for bad weather

Lots of businesses closing today in the Nashville area. With schools and companies getting out here in the next hour or so, I'm sure traffic will be a nightmare for the next five hours.

Well folks, I was hoping we might not ever see a day like we did in April 2011, but today might be it

Its going to get real bad in Mississippi and parts of Alabama today and tonight. Conditions are right for a massive outbreak of long track tornadoes.

As far as middle tn, you guys may not be all that bad. The rain and clouds from the morning will likely cause a cap in the atmosphere, stopping the development of any violent tornadic storms. Most of the worst will be too your south

Good to hear that Middle TN might be ok. Still, hope that everyone in MS/AL is going to be ok.
