Well that's a change isn't it? My husband's family is from Ducktown. We visit every Sunday and the drive up there is gorgeous, except for the crazy kayakers on the Ocoee. lol:
So far Knoxville has dodged the bad weather tonight. Was watching the radar off and on and it seems we managed to mostly stay between two bands of storms that were coming up from the south.
My work had a lot of water damage. I'll take a picture of the gator pond today and post it. The water levels are barely low enough for us to be open.. we closed for 3 days. At least its suppose to be sunny all week I suppose.
98 was closed. Most roads in Fdub was and all of hulbert field. The bridge over 98 about collapsed. The gulfarium had 3 feet of water inside.I-10 had 2 feet of water rushing down it. Pcola and Crestview got hit a lot harde though.
I'm hoping we don't get any hurricanes this year. With the rain we already have it could be a bad season.
You have to go to Cleveland,Murphy(NC),Chatsworth or Blue Ridge to do some serious stuff(like shopping for groceries if you want to go somewhere besides Piggly Wiggly).

Verizon definitely has the best service up there. That's why my husband chose them. We get service almost all the way down the river road now. Used to dropped off at Boyd Gap and didn't pick up again til you got past Parksville.
Isolated areas could get 4-5". 2-3 for the average. The river ( arkansas) has already been put on warning for flood levels to exceed some of the levees.
