Severe Weather Thread

I hope Tennessee doesn't have the wet season it had last year.

Amen to that! The mold count was off the charts last year. People who didn't even have allergies were feeling it.

I have a feeling it's going to be very hot this summer. It's already in the upper 80's and it's just the middle of May.

I do. Had my best summer mowing yards ever. Normally by July and August a lot of the yards that don't have irrigation are dried up and dead, but not last year. Just about all my yards had to be mowed every week from March to October, which was awesome. But like coug said, this year is already looking bad for me. It's been so hot and dry the last couple weeks I'm already starting to see dry brown patches in a lot of people's yard, and it's just early May.

Thunderstorms are supposed to start in in Polk County from sometime between 5-8 and supposedly are going to be bad tonight and tomorrow.

Moline, IL. Apparently there were whiteout conditions this morning in Dixon, IL.

And, surprise snow in southern Utah. Also, parts of Colorado. I remember it snowing in June the first year I lived there. It was up around the 8-10000 ft level.

All the storms are up north in Kentucky as were the few that developed last night. They've yet to travel far enough south.

Chance of severe weather tonight here in Knoxville. Hopefully it won't get too bad, but we DESPERATELY need some rain. It's only the first week of June and most of the lawns I mow are already to get crunchy and brown.

So true!
I'm bummed! It's barely June and the front and backyard are starting to look bad already. I hold out no hope for the lawn for the remainder of this summer.

Swing and a miss on the rain last night here. It all slid off to the west.

Already seeing the lightning on the next line of storms rolling in.

This one is supposed to get a little mean.
