I agree with that. At some pts I can understand 7 depending how you got to the 7 wins . I just don't think 500 teams or below deserve it.

I miss the days when you actually had to be a good team to get a bowl bid. Now mediocrity gets you a bowl bid. It's like when kids get a participation award for trying in a sport.

F some of these smaller bowls, their one of the problems with todays game.

Eh, I think 7-5 should be the cut off. That way if you lose, you still finish with a winning record. I don't like how you can finish with a losing record and be in a bowl game (like us 2 years ago at 6-7).

NO WAY should 5-7 EVER get you a bowl game...after the severe underachievement our season has been, it would be insulting to our opponent to go to the game.

On the other hand, the AD does need the $$$...so I could see it happening...sigh

I could not stop from pondering if we had swapped coaching staffs with Dandy Vandy back in Aug, ( there is no way to prove this) I believe this bunch of UT players would have finished the year 9-3, 10-2 ? Only 3 teams outclassed in player potential- Bama, USC and GA. wITH GOOD coaching this year would have been much better. THEY would have made Bray either get with the program or get out. What could have been.

There's too many damn bowl games. It used to be an honor to get to play in the post season and now almost every team gets to. I don't like the 6-6 rule and I certainly don't give a damn about winning the Hostess Presents "Save our Ding Dong" Bowl in Tahlequah, Okalahoma.
