Should Churches Pay Taxes?

Thank you sir. And I care what you think? :bad:

I would take that as a compliment, OWB. Smoke Em has categorically denied evolution, scientific studies on the use of cell phones while driving, history, etc. If it doesn't come from that 400 year old book, authored and revised by the English monarchy, then Smoke Em does not care about it.

God didn't write that himself like he did the Bible.

Yep, if it wasn't in the bible, then it's just couldn't be true.

The Bible is the infoulable holy word of God. It is simple really.

I think it's time for you to start trying to part the Red Sea..

What is infoulable? I always thought it was infallible? Maybe that is because I just do not read enough.

Make sure you do not let Smoke Em know that the sea that Moses and the Hebrews most likely crossed was the much smaller Reed Sea, which is prone to abnormal tidal activity even to this very day...

Interesting, I didn't know that.

Please OWB. It all comes down to the fact in order to be an alcoholic you have to make the decision to try it. It is not a disease. It is a disorder. A person could highly likely to drink if the environment they live in supports it. Not the gene pool. A person does not wake up one morning craving alcohol if they have never tried it.

Whatever, you just keep on thinking whatever you want.

If it's not a disease and it takes using to trigger it, then why does it keep progressing even after you stop drinking?

I haven't had a drink in 3 years and I had a big tolerance for it. If I started drinking again today, my tolerance would be better because it's progressive regardless of using or not.

There are some things in the world that others understand better than you do. This is one of those things. Accept it and move on because you're really starting to piss me off and I have a ban button.

Please don't feed me that crap!! I hear it enough from my liberal professors at school. If it was the reed sea then the Bible would call it that. People like to make God look less amazing than he is. No matter where they crossed, it required a MIGHTY ACT OF GOD!!!!!!!!!!!

If you want to use your ban button on me just because you are offended from what I say then that is your problem. I say take your arguments like a man. We don't agree. Oh well.

I'm not offended, you just make me want to beat my head in with a blunt object.

It is a disorder because you have no problem with alcoholism until you introduce the substance to your body. Simple as that.

Some people have predisposed genes that are there regardless of trying it or not.

Now thanks to you, I consider religion a disorder / disease..

So, by that logic, anything you are allergic to, whether it is tree pollen or milk, is a diorder and not a disease. You would be fine as long as the substance is not introduced into your body.

That would be an allergy. I have them. I didn't think it was a disease.
