Deepest front we’ve had in many years. And very little drop off.

I noticed after a timeout in the 3rd and the 4th and 1/2yd to go, that we went with our "backup" DL and stuffed them. We are rotating and not dropping off. Tyre West is in the 2nd group ... let that sink in!

I think the ‘98 team was extremely deep too but I’d probably agree…this very well may be the deepest for sure! And it sure showed up in the second half.

2001 had the best DL ever IMO. But, the depth this year may meet or exceed it in effectiveness.

I agree, he is not much of a safety coach. He is a good coordinator because of Rodney Gardner D line and a good LB coach hire.

And he is a good play caller

Just a little reminder of how good of a defensive job Banks did. We allowed 143 yards. That’s the lowest yards for NCST since 2009. So that includes all the great defensive teams Clemson has had over the years.

I'm still not convinced our secondary has been truly tested. And am still leery about what I did see. I figure Oklahoma will finally tell us if they are better than bad, or better than good.
