I was at the Liberty Bowl many years ago when UT played
Minn. Very patriotic half time show; and when they sang
” God Bless the USA “ and got to the part “ from the lakes
of Minnesota “ the Mn fans stood and cheered; and then the
part “ to the hills of Tennessee “ the UT folks did likewise.
It was very inspirational.

I was there too! It was a cold night in Memphis!!

Why the hate for the CLT?

I think Charlotte is great but we live on the Gulf coast so its a further drive than say Houston or Jacksonville and about 10-15 degrees cooler...I actually forgot we are gonna be in Panama City for the beach ball drop for New Year's so its probably either FL bowl or watch on TV for me

I’m not sure. They have to win 2 of 3 against Kansas, K State and West Virginia. So basically they have to beat K State or WVU bc Kansas is pretty bad.

Maybe K State.
Not calling WV a win by any means

I doubt we would be able to go to any non Florida bowl anyway...we are gonna be in Panama City around New Years...completely forgot that earlier...looks like Gator Bowl on NYE at 11 or the Texas Bowl on the 4th would be the 2 we could attend without messing up travel plans..Christmas week we will be in North Georgia mountains and in Gatlinburg right afterward for couple days before heading to PCB

If you live anywhere near an airport with Allegiant Air, they fly to Concord, NC just outside Charlotte. Just in case the boys wind up here.
