No, I didn't have the honor. I support my local teams. That's why I'm a Vandy and a Titans fan. I can't stand Knoxville or Memphis and I make it a point to never get off the interstate in those towns!

Tennessee had top 10 classes under Fulmer, Kiffen and Dooley. There has always been talent there but good coaching was missing. Maybe Jones will turn things around but he didn't impress me this year.

UT must feel good about his coaching, and confident that he will prove it in the near future. Not many coaches fall so low as to lose to Vandy, and not lose his job.

Think about that for a minute. The greatest thing that made me question CBJ this year was that he lost to Vandy.

Do you get where I'm going with that?

I mean...

He lost to... Vandy!

Blown out by Oregon? I can understand.

Blown out by several good teams? It's a rebuilding year.

But lose in a squeaker to Vandy?

Vandy?!

I'll admit. I lost some respect.

Saw Vandy has entered into a series with both Western Kentucky and Middle Tennessee for the next few years. At least they are buying their cupcakes local.

MTSU is probably Vandy's biggest rival. Then again, MTSU has won the last three, so maybe they need to aim lower.

Dooley was the 5th coach on the list and Jones was at least 3rd, maybe 4th on our list. it is rare, even with a dumptruck full of money that Texas has, to get your first choice.

Last but not least, our resident vandy troll mentioned the high caliber players that Franklin brought in - Azubike - Jelks - Robinette. Yes, let's allow the credit to go to Franklin but also remind our vandy troll that it was Dooley that was recruiting at the time those 3 committed. In essence, frankie boy out recruited Dooley. So did everybody else. Vandy also pulled Kimbrow, not because of being out recruited, but because Dooley did one thing right and told Kimbrow he did not want him around our program. Suck it vandy boy. Hope you enjoy your new QB, ACS's little brother. Just keep the rapes at a minimum, hate to see vandy set a new low.

I'm guessing he won't get off the interstate in Knoxville or Memphis primarily because his parents tell him "We stopped at a bathroom in Cookeville already, just hold it!"

Guess Cookeville is off limits (TTU). So is Chattanooga (UTC). Add Martin to that list (UTM). Johnson City is out (ETSU) as is Elizabethton (Milligan College). Greeneville, Clarksville, Jefferson City, Jackson, Morristown...

But wait! Wouldn't that include Nashville as well since it's home to David Lipscomb, Tennessee State, Nashville State CC, Fisk, Meharry and others?

Dude, seems like there's nowhere in the State for you to go. Might you try heading to Arkansas for a change in scenery?

ENTIRE senior laden Secondary is gone. ACS is gone.Matthews is gone. Krause gone. Wesley Johnson gone. Walker may is gone. Fitz Lassing is gone.Morse is gone. Garnham gone. Butler Gone. worry about your own team. you guys are losing a whole hell of a lot as well. like 9 starting defenders and about 5 on the offense who contributed and thats not counting Tate. thats about 13-14 starters not counting some seniors who play in backup.good luck beating those freshman!
