SIAP. Texas could get James Franklin?

Robinette is a better runner, a more accurate passer and just a redshirt freshman. He didn't get an offer from UT because of an orange pants wearing mistake u guys made. I'm very glad he did though.

Based off what? His phenomenal season?

He led Vandy to a comeback win over Georgia and Played great against Florida. When ACS came back against Kentucky and the offense could do nothing every Vandy fan wanted Robinette back in there.

A beaten up UGA team and the worst UF team in a very long time. That's not impressive.

And don't give me "well, UT couldn't beat them." because that doesn't help your argument. UT was not good.

I know Georgia doesn't even have a full size indoor. I may be wrong but I don't think Florida has an indoor either. Bobby lost to MTSU twice. Don't try to tell me Bobby Johnson was better than Franklin. Johnson had 1 winning season and he was there for 9 years.

This is impressive....

Bwhahaha!

I hate to jump in here, but he's playing because your coach wanted to RS your best recruit in the '12 cycle. If you believe otherwise you dont know your own program.

Vandy's actually has more than all of those. It has a bowling alley , exercise studio, Gourmet kitchens, Weight rooms just for the faculty, space for the golf team an indoor track and the list goes on.

This is a joke, right? Ours is a football facility... not a student union... which, by the way, is where our bowling alleys can be found.

ACS was tough as hell. Played 3 games on a torn ACL. Ask any Vandy fan if he was better than Robinette and they will laugh at u.

If every vandy fan knew it then why did your unbelieveable coach disagree with everyone? Why would he rather play a guy with a torn ACL than a healthy QB who is supposedly better?

He walked away cause he was tired of losing. Nothing was built till after Franklin got there. Franklin has already brought in better recruiting classes then Johnson could ever dream of. Bobby was a nice guy but couldn't get it done at Vandy. He may have beat one of the big boys every now and then. He also lost to the Navy's and other lowly D1 schools on a regular basis.

Johnson left because he was sick of.asking for the facility upgrades and given nothing. He gave the university an ultimatum and they slow played him repeatedly, he put a good product on the field given the landscape of the sec east. When it became clear to him that there was no commitment to the football program on the institutions part he showed them the same commitment, he went through the motions for a few years until he just couldn't live with it anymore.

Had he not made the point to the university by walking away like did on principle these upgrades don't get done and the.commitment to the program isn't there. You praise Franklin for but he is the beneficiary of Johnson slapped the institution and woke them up.

I know Johnson, my best friend growing up played for him at his previous coaching stop. I don't know Franklin but I have met the guy, he is a passive aggressive type personality. I'm not saying he isn't a good coach, he just isn't the heavy weight many think.

If Franklin doesn't leave either this year or at the very latest next year he has missed his window. The east will be better and Vandy will be at the bottom of the east again scratching and clawing with Kentucky.

Mccrary has a lot of potential and I'm hoping for big things out of him. I haven't seen him against SEC competition yet though. I've seen Robinette and he will also be starting the bowl game as well. He will have every opportunity to stand out.

I respect and like Bobby. He was a good coach but not SEC caliber. Franklin took the job based on promises made by the administration to take football seriously. Bobby leaving may have been the kick in the pants they needed but Franklin is the reason they keep going forward. I've met Franklin several times and he's one of the nicest guys I've ever met.

Yours doesn't even have a track. :lolabove:
Vols fans are a rare breed of.......!

Ours doesn't have a track because it's a dedicated football facility (i.e. football only). Yours is a multipurpose facility to be shared with the other teams and clubs.

Get on our level or don't bother comparing the facilities.

Ours doesn't have a bowling alley either as you pointed out.

And furthermore, our indoor facility doesn't cut off part of the last three yards of the field and part of the endzone, like about 3 feet worth or so.

You know, that small part that's kind of important when scrambling for a touchdown.

Your level is 5-7 every year. I'm perfectly happy with Vandy brand new facility's. Your facility's haven't produced a winner in 5 years.

Our facility's what? Or, were you trying and failing at the simple use of a plural?

Carry on the great name of Vanderbilt education, my friend. It looks as though Vandy has, indeed, produced a real winner with immyaxl.

Oh no the grammar police!

Oh no the grammar police!

I've never trolled another team's board-- especially a Vandy board. (I give you the benefit of the doubt. Our history with Vandy has relegated them to "afterthought". You've never been properly considered a rival-- more of an occasional annoyance. So, we've had no reason to troll you.) However, it seems that if I were to troll another board, I'd learn how to use the English language so that I would only come across as douchey. Douchey and stupid is just not what I would be shooting for.

Now, if my coach had hit the media, butt-hurt about losing recruits... And he had slighted the education of rival schools that were killing him in recruiting... And he had made some asinine statement about Vandy being the only place in the country where you could get quality education and winning football... And he had pouted and blown up when someone called him on the statement about education and winning football...

I would make sure I could at least tell the difference between usage of possessives and plurals.

:hi:

Nice. Our worst seasons have a 7 in the L column. Your worst seasons have 9s and 10s. Perspective. You need it.
