Especially pulling a recruit from right outside Nashville that should be prime Vandy recruiting grounds (Malone).

Don't know why it wasn't officially awarded for this year but Vandy is the runaway winner. It is sickening how fans like you continue to diminish the incident and pretend that everything is rosy.

It's laughable that anyone actually thinks that Texas has any real interest in Franklin. He's a mediocre coach. Most of his wins have come against mediocre opponents- not the sign of an up and comer.

Besides, his wife isn't hot enough for him to be coach at Texas.

I have no idea why a kid that could choose Vandy over UT wouldn't. Vandy has brand new Facility's as nice as anyone's. They're a top 20 academic school that is in the #1 football conference in America. They've gone to 3 straight bowl games. If u want to compete against the best academically and athletically Vandy wins every time.

I laughed at "facilities nice as anyone's." Maybe on a high school level, outside of Texas.

LOL, the Titans are one of the worst franchises in the NFL - and this is coming from someone who actually roots for them if they're not playing the Phins. Miami is pretty bad but at least they've done something in their history.

Comedy gold was your statement about facilities. Even with upgrade scraping the bottom of the SEC barrel. At best mediocre compared with major D-1 programs.

Lost your last coach who actually competed with the big boys in the conference even if he Didn' win those games he played the best while at their best. Franklin has feasted on the downteodden. The competition wasnt comperable, plainly said Bobby was a better coach, Franklin is a salesman who will be exposed soon enough.

Don't forget to admit I told you so when it all comes into focus.

Please look around the SEC, specifically UT and Bama, and then compare Vandy's facilities. Really, look around the NCAA.

There is no comparison.

But again, I ask, WHY aren't recruits going to Vandy if there is such a big "change" happening? I'll wait. Probably for a long time.

I know Georgia doesn't even have a full size indoor. I may be wrong but I don't think Florida has an indoor either. Bobby lost to MTSU twice. Don't try to tell me Bobby Johnson was better than Franklin. Johnson had 1 winning season and he was there for 9 years.

Why would Florida need indoor facilities? Bobby Hung tough with the best, Franklin beats teams at historic lows. The east has been pathetic during Franklin's tenure it was the strength of the conference. Johnson slept walked through his last few years. He was disgusted with the broken promises, he is the reason Vandy went from having sun belt type facilities to respectable facilities. Had he not walked away the way he did to prove a point none of this happens.

He walked away cause he was tired of losing. Nothing was built till after Franklin got there. Franklin has already brought in better recruiting classes then Johnson could ever dream of. Bobby was a nice guy but couldn't get it done at Vandy. He may have beat one of the big boys every now and then. He also lost to the Navy's and other lowly D1 schools on a regular basis.

Florida needs it for the same reason any team in the southeast does, thunderstorms. U have to take your team off the field any time there is lightning. Franklin said this last fall camp they had six practices cut short because of storms. They won't have that problem anymore.
