The gov is here to help you..LMAO. It isn't the citizens fault (well not at face value) they make it so complex and convoluted. So complex, the IRS must hire additional workers in some self perpetual scheme..GTFO.
For $100 one can get company assistance to file taxes correctly.
If you cannot afford $100, then you have nothing to worry about. except when to expect a refund.

The IRS is hiring special agents prepared to use 'deadly force' if needed and is paying up to $95,000

These agents investigate financial crimes, money laundering, tax-related identity theft, and terrorist financing efforts. They are the only IRS workers who are permitted to carry and use firearms.

Required to work a minimum of 50 hours a week, always on call even during vacations and weekends, these agents will need to be fit so they can "effectively respond to life-threatening situations," per the listing.

They will conduct arrests, search warrants, and "other dangerous assignments." But most importantly, they must be legally allowed to carry a gun.

Or do the details undermine your effort to .... spin .... the actual facts.

'I Can Go Into Anyone’s House At Any Time’: Judiciary Committee Investigates IRS Agent Threatening Taxpayer | ZeroHedge

The incident occurred on April 25, 2023, when an IRS agent identifying as “Bill Haus” with the agency’s Criminal Division visited the home of a taxpayer residing in Marion, Ohio, according to the June 16 letter (pdf). The agent initially lied to the taxpayer that he was visiting with regard to her improper estate filings and that she owed a “substantial amount” to the IRS. Before his visit, the taxpayer had not received any notification from the tax agency regarding unpaid dues on the estate.

After the taxpayer showed proof that she had paid all taxes for the estate, agent Haus then said that the true purpose of his visit was not related to the estate but that the taxpayer allegedly had several delinquent tax return filings. He then proceeded to provide documents for the taxpayer to fill out—including submitting sensitive personal information.

The taxpayer immediately called her attorney, who asked Agent Haus to leave her home. The agent responded aggressively, insisting that I am an IRS agent, I can be at and go into anyone’s house at any time I want to be.

Before leaving her home, Haus “threatened” the taxpayer that she had one week to pay off her dues, failing which he would freeze her assets and put a lien on her home, the letter notes. In May, the taxpayer contacted Haus’ supervisor, who subsequently resolved the matter. On May 30, she received a letter from the IRS stating that her case had been closed.

“Making the rich pay their fair share”

“Just following orders”

I can guarantee you 2 things.

Most of the Dems support it even though they believe that the governmental system is racist.

The Republicans are against it because they believe it violates constitutional rights even though they support cops doing the same things.

The government discovered how much power they really had during Covid. Give the cows a little silage and they are happy no matter what Rights are stripped away.

Protect the thin red line?

True on both counts. Both of these party followers are ridiculous hypocrites.

I can go into anyone’s house anytime I want to?

That’s outrageous.

This is outrageous. A man is moving across country (from Las Vegas) to take care of his father (in New Jersey). Everything he owns is with him including a lot of cash, silver, and jewelry. He was pulled over for a traffic infraction and they cops confiscate his money, metal, and jewelry. He committed no crime and the government wants to “settle” by keeping 40% and giving him back 60%. F*****g tyrants in PA.

This jack wagon officer in Menominee, MI seems to have been bored so he decides to harass a guy that travels the country in his car. Writes him a parking ticket for simply minding his own business and not kissing his ass. Second video is hilarious. His supervisor made him void the ticket and go tell Travis hoping that the calls bombarding their office will stop.

They'd accept it an wait 2-3 years then hit you with penalties and interest from the day you filed.
State of Virginia is pulling this sh*t right now with my wife and me. She called and blew the a-hole up on the other end of the line and they erased most of the "interest" we owe. She's going to call again to force them to drop the "penalties".

It's a sham, especially since the bill they tried to send us is over $1k and the initial amount they are saying we owed was something around half that.

What's the point in hiring more agents if you aren't going to punish convicted felons who willfully evade and defraud the US for multiple years?

Quit whining and just pay your taxes. The gall of some people, after everything Biden and his family has sacrificed to serve this country they deserve a little leeway. Be grateful we have a president we can all respect and admire, be grateful for all that he and his family has done for us.
