Since many people think it's unamerican to report all you income to the IRS

Did not like Tujagues. Great atmosphere on Easter Sunday. But not really impressed with the food. C'est la vie.

The last time we were there, it didn't seem as good. Could have been an off day, but based on what you think and if it seems not as good next time, we'll probably take it off the list of places we always go. Could be some things are different before and after Katrina; I know the interior at Tujague's changed a bit.

Don’t do it Space
He just wants to show off his new sundress

You know several years ago, we made a trip up to Dayton, OH to the AF Museum - dad, brothers oldest sons. We stopped at a rest area on the Interstate in OH, and when we got back in the van everybody had the same comment. "Did you see the guy in the dress?" McDad???

I don't hate N.O. I just don't think you can get a good meal there without spending a fortune or without having everything deep fried. They are mutually exclusive. I've eaten at Brennen's and other high falutin' places as well, but I am not into spend 100s of dollars whenever I am there. I am on the road a lot as you know, so spending a ton of coin on a meal gets old. I get it when you are on vacation though.

You can eat 4 course meal at Mr Bs for lunch for 20 bucks. And they have dollar vodka lemonades. And it’s on white linen with high end wait staff

From the grocery store in Tokyo

A real stand alone grocery or one of the basement levels in a department store? It always seemed weird going into a place like Mitsukoshi and finding everything from food to furniture. Haven't been in Tokyo in 50 years, so that may be very different now. Narita was new when I was in and out of Tokyo, so not a lot around the airport then. Do they put you in a place near Narita or downtown Tokyo?

Busy place and plenty to do. I generally stayed in the New Otani in the Chiyoda district adjacent to Shinjuku because our corporate office was just around the corner. Tokyo is the only city that I really enjoyed. If you are into electronics, spend an afternoon or so in Akihabara; I bought everything from cables, capacitors, and resistors to support the project I was doing to a nice pair of Yamaha speakers there. I wish I'd had all the information available in the internet and a cell phone for navigation back in those days; the subway maps aren't great for going out on your own to explore.

I was about two my first time in Tokyo ... my brother was born in Tachikawa. Apparently for a toddler I was reasonably fluent in Japanese; I've always had an affinity for Japan, but since then absolutely not much good with any foreign language.
