So did Hooker lose the Heisman today?

Lost by 14 to the AP #1 team. Plays on a team everyone predicted to win 7-8 games.
He's definitely still in the running. Win out and he probably still wins it.
Finish 11-1(12 with a bowl win) with a great bowl game and a heisman winner would be a season that no sane fan could complain about.

Got to shine on the big stage and he did not. Wasn’t sharp and made some poor decisions by not throwing the ball away when he could have.
Credit to GA though as bad as I have to Admit it. They didn’t make it easy for him

Everything was largely in his control but today didn't help. But, no he didn't lose it today....he just needs help now.

Well...yeah all that's true.
But HEUPEL needs to grow as well.

From the QB pocket camera angle everyone could see that Hendon had nowhere to throw most of the time.

No question that Heupel can grow as well. I expect him to do just that. (same as Hooker)

Having nowhere to throw and taking multiple sacks outside the pocket.... are distinct execution failures. The team will address them both.

Didn’t read all 4 pages, but yes . . . if you don’t win the big game, you have no chance of winning. Think we’ve been here before.

He's definitely no longer the front runner. Will need outstanding games to close out the schedule.
He never would have won it....Ohio State Boy has always been the winner of the meaningless media trophy.

He was probably never winning it anyway. Don't care either way. The award is a joke regardless.

This. Hooker was never really in it, and I'd rather hit $10 on a $1 scratch-off than see a UT player win the Heisman. That award literally means nothing anymore. Well, unless you're Notre Dame or Bama.

Which would you rather have, BY with the Heisman, or SB IV with the Natty?

Go Vols.

Doesn’t matter. The Heisman is stupid and I don’t think be cares that much about it. He will lead us to our first 11 win season in over 20 years. He’s a legend.

Yes”he had a very very slim chance before today and then With the egg Vols layed it’s history!!!

Every team/player has what I've been calling a "stinker". Today was Hookers and the Vols and it happened against the best team in college football. Don't see how one game would change how a player is seen as a prospect unless it was something that called his character into question.
I meant to say
Forget Heisman. Did it hurt Hooker NFL prospect.
LOL was trying to do to things at once and lost my train of thought.

One thing is clear. Hooker needs to learn to throw the ball away
