So for us streaming cable cutters…..

nflbite.com is another option(despite the URL name, they cover a wide variety of sports). Streams are a play or two behind live, but it's free, so there you go.

I am sure the info has already been posted somewhere, but for us folks who got rid of most cable and switched to streaming; how do we make sure to get the maximum number of Vols games?
Last year, I caught almost all of them on YouTube but based on week 0 experimenting Saturday, it’s looks like those are getting shut down for copyright infringement much more quickly this year.
I tried the crazy Disney ESPN+ bundle once but never could get it to work.
What is the path to streaming enlightenment oh fellow Vol fans?
An antenna will pick up local channels....

Looking at Sling for my mom and am I reading right they don't offer CBS? How are you people with sling catching the CBS games?

Do you have to pay extra to get ESPN in 4K/CBS?

I'm sure they'll change it soon but right now it's only based on location. So what we do right now is my brother-in-law signs in as if he's in Atlanta (I login for him with his account since I'm in Atlanta) and that works around it. Basically what happens is they let him do it for about 3 months and then he gets a notice about his location and we do that workaround.
Interesting. So are you using the family sharing or is he just straight up logging in to yours?

He's using family sharing so each person has their own account. You just have to login into the home area every few months with each account that's using it outside the home area. So he logs into his brother-in-law's account once a quarter from the home area to keep everything working.

The 4k package isn't worth it currently. There just isn't enough 4k content.
That's what I was wondering. I was looking at the price and then noticed there was a 4K option. I thought everything was in 4k for as much as YTTV cost LOL

You can watch any sport using buffstreams and by any, I mean ANY. Curling? Yup. college football, pro football, rugby, cricket etc. etc from all over the world.

You can LITERALLY experiment with it right now and see if you can get, for free the Atlanta Braves playing in Colorado RIGHT NOW on it.

you just need to click on the sport you want to watch and there will be a list of links of different qualities you can choose from.

This way, you can convince your right now that you know what you are doing and not worry about being able to watch your favorite teams.

btw, it's free. screw disney, espn, fox, fox sports one or any service that wants to charge you anything. I've used buffstreams for years when I'm at college. People all over the world use it and a VPN to watch their team(s) at work and that's while their employer is actively working against them. So yeah, it's very, very good.

FYI: a content delivery network (from wiki):

A content delivery network, or content distribution network, is a geographically distributed network of proxy servers and their data centers. The goal is to provide high availability and performance by distributing the service spatially relative to end users. Wikipedia

We pay $76.93/mo for YouTube TV. Get all national networks, plus ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ESPNEWS, CBS Sports Network, FS1, FS2, BIG10, ACC, and SEC Networks. Unless the Vols are playing a no-name cupcake like Austin Peay, I get every game. And I don’t really care to watch us win a 70-3 game vs an inferior opponent, anyway.

I bite the bullet for Football season and just pick up youtubetv. I can run 4 different games in my room on 4 different devices with it.
YTTV now has the multicast, multiview, multisomething. So you can split screen up to four games on the same screen. Just depends on what channel the games are on.
