No such thing as a "digital" antenna. If there in good shape the same antennas from 1985 works just as good. (With new cable run)
If your close enough to the broadcast towers old rabbit ear antenna will still work as well.
Manufacturers around 2007-08 started adding "digital" to antenna boxes to take advantage of the switchover in 2009 when local stations went from analog to digital to sell more products making people think they needed a new antenna.
I am sure the info has already been posted somewhere, but for us folks who got rid of most cable and switched to streaming; how do we make sure to get the maximum number of Vols games?
Last year, I caught almost all of them on YouTube but based on week 0 experimenting Saturday, it’s looks like those are getting shut down for copyright infringement much more quickly this year.
I tried the crazy Disney ESPN+ bundle once but never could get it to work.
What is the path to streaming enlightenment oh fellow Vol fans?
They do have really good digital antennas, but they can only receive broadcast through the air. One can not stream with them and can not get channels like ESPN+ and SEC +.No such thing as a "digital" antenna. If there in good shape the same antennas from 1985 works just as good. Sling + Paramount is still cheaper. Next year you won't need Paramount anymore. I generally cut Sling back after football. I will say that Sling has some "quirks". I get weird sound issues from time to time. I think YTTV is a better experience for that extra money. I've stuck with Sling for Pac12 network. Guess I'll have be doing that math again next year.Didn't realize that, thanks. It seems like YouTubeTV might be the easiest somewhat reasonably priced option.

The fans who can not make it to the games get screwed again. Greed continues to ra its ugly head.I am sure the info has already been posted somewhere, but for us folks who got rid of most cable and switched to streaming; how do we make sure to get the maximum number of Vols games?

They dropped the price down to $5 a month for 4k content for your first year. But like others have said. Very limited. I think NBC and ESPN are the only channels that have 4k games. Maybe FS1?
I have Hulu live and dang it I seem to get everything!I'm using Disney's bundle w/Hulu Live this go around. Used YouTubeTV last year but had some issues with their streaming quality but not enough to make me want to switch mid-season.
We will see more SEC games on ABC and SECN+ this season. In the past ESPN has streamed the ABC games on ESPN3 at the same time. The Virginia is being shown on both but don't know if you get ESPN3 with just ESPN app or if you need ESPN+. Not many streaming deals out there unless you're new to the service.
What that also gets you is unlimited streams in your household / family group verses 3. The 3 streams is a deal breaker for me, I need a minimum of 4. Also with that is 2 out of household streams. So I may end up there. Fubo has unlimited streams - but DVR cloud is limited and my family records a lot of shows.
