So much Tennessee flavor on this staff.

This may show my ignorance or the fact that its 3:30AM but if Tee Martin comes back and joins this staff outside him and Jay Graham who with "Tennessee Flavor" so to speak is out there worth putting on this staff? Randy Sanders? :dunno:

involuntary ol;7975427]What crap? Actually letting the new head coach pick the staff that he believes gives us the best chance to compete and win? That sure is a novel concept, at every other SEC school that just poll their fans and pick the most popular choices[/QUOTE]

He needs to pick his staff. No way can he be held accountable if the AD forces certain staff on him. My point is he should never been offered the job here. No slam on him. He may do well. Both the players and fans deserve better. He could be just what the doctor ordered or he may be the last shovel of dirt thrown on this once proud program as time will tell.

I couldn't care less about the staff, as long as they win.

Some of y'all forget, it isn't about who you want. CBJ's comfortable with the guys he's bringing in.

If he adds Tee this staff will be just under 25% former Vols and 100% more former Vols than last year. Seems like a good amount of Tennessee tea to me.

Maybe we can add a little more. According to Hyams this afternoon Nick Reveiz applied to be a GA. Not quite sure how they pick GAs, but I hope he gets it.

Anyone know how that process works?

From ehow:

Being a football Graduate Assistant, or GA, is a demanding position that demands long hours and involves everything from helping the coaches at practice and breaking down film to monitoring players' study halls and handling equipment. And all this is done while juggling graduate-level coursework in school. In exchange for putting in up to 100 hours per week, GAs receive free tuition and, perhaps more importantly, an introduction to the world of college football coaching. Most graduate assistantships last two seasons, although the NCAA allows for three. Furthermore, the NCAA mandates that each team can only field two GA positions

Call me crazy...

The only flavor I want to taste is the sweet meat of the SEC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

Only one cook in the kitchen and his name is Butch. Just sit back and wait for the final product.

It is somewhat surprising (and disappointing) with CBJ stating at the presser that he would "leave no stone unturned" while building a staff and it comes down to one exisiting UT coach (Graham), 2 coaches from Auburn, and the rest of the staff from his former staff at Cincy. This doesn't seem like a national search for the best candidates, IMO.

Another foolish example of a so called fan cheering their teams misfortune. Hope you have twelve different logo request for your attire next fall so you can cheer on your agenda.

My agenda is to have something to hope to cheer for next year... Like, say, wins?

Be careful not to question anything.... You must love every decision made no matter how misleading.

Yeah, Boom... Blew up in your face.

Yep. Unbekeivable. This isn't meant directly for bruinvol. However, look at the track record if these so called "insiders" firstit was Gruden is a done deal.... LMAO didn't happen. Then Strong is a done deal..... Didn't happen. Then that "insider" Skeeter saying Tee was a Done deal..... Definitely didn't happen. Oh and who can forget the "smoke screen" talk about Gruden....... Another failed "guess". Honestly, that's rediculous. How many times can you be wrong, before consequences such as getting banned happen.

I don't think skeeter ever said "done deal" with Tee (and he never said it with Gruden). He said Tee was coming home, which he did for a day.

What's been lost in your celebration of losing T is the fact that you started this thread with a flat out lie.

I am still waiting on the quote from Jones where he promised a Tennessee flavored staff???

If you can provide that quote then perhaps this thread can have some merit and we can then discuss who is next in line to fulfill that promise.

If not you are nothing but an OP with an agenda that is willing to make up lies to promote it!!
