It is not where this team was but where they ended up in relationship to the top 25 programs in the country and the prospects of where they will end up in 2025 and the future after that with the existing coaches.Too bad your intellect can not comprehend that fact.This team was were about 320 other programs wanted to be, a Sixth seed in the NCAA tournament and that was playing without their All-American and probable number 3 WNBA draft pick for 8 full games in the beginning of the season. Rankings come from coaches and AP voters who have a stick up their a** about giving mid majors visibility that could never compete with Tennessee and those teams were seeded 10-13 in the tournament for a reason. If the top 25 rankings of teams like Fairfield, Richmond UNLV for most of the season doesn't clue you in on the ranking system there is not much more I can say because those teams although they had good records played low net and rpi teams for wins and should have never been in those rankings.
