Everything being said about how the committee chose the field is just mental gymnastics to sell a specific narrative. I’ve heard nothing but contradictions since it’s come out.

FSU not getting in being held up to strength of schedule and the QB getting hurt. Yet not a word about how Bama barely showed up to several of their games (the “style points” that keep getting referenced) and how they got handled by Texas (another style point argument).
