So you can excuse our low health care rankings based on the quality of people being served but the quality of people being served should not be factored into education?
That's LOL worthy.
A Punishing Decade for School Funding
Lots of school slashing. While our spending is up there, it’s not the highest and not all of it is spent on instruction or teachers salary as evidenced by WV most recently. There’s been huge increases in school security due to shootings. If we didn’t let any idiot with a mental disorder have access to a gun, there wouldn’t be vast amounts spent. School funding is based on the local area. Obviously poorer districts have worse schools. Why? Funding, because the people there make less money and therefore pay less taxes.

Thanks.............just as our low test scores aren't due to what you are claiming.
Think Canada Allows Freedom of Speech? Think AgainLet me know when this happens. I can assure you none of these governments forbid that.
The school shootings argument is old disproven countless times. Most of the ones the left claims, never actually happened. And overall they’ve been trending down for years now. Schools are safer than they’ve ever been
Funding is not why their schools suck. It’s because the poor don’t push their children the way the middle and upper class do. They don’t invest the time in their children that other parents do and as a result they get a lower return.
I can't really disagree with this, even though I was raised by a career woman in the 1950's. We did have someone to look after us when were young and our mother was working. Daycare didn't exist then when and where I grew up. 80% or more of mothers were at home.I think feminists own a big part of the education problem, too. If you are going to have kids then somebody needs to be there to take care of them properly ... not farm them out to institutional daycare. Feminists told women their proper place was in the workforce (where they could be "satisfied" in a "real career") rather than running the home and seeing to future generations. Of course, once women flooded the job market, the market forces of supply and demand came into play (both income and consumption of goods and services); and there's little chance of going back because too many people are trapped into needing double incomes.
I agree 100%. That's the point I'm making. They should be judged accordingly. It cracks me up when I hear people talk about the great health care in this country and then turn around and talk about how much education sucks.People have health issue due to no fault of their own. That doesn’t mean some people don’t do everything they can to lead an unthealthy lifestyle with no regard to their health until it’s too late. Some people are born with learning disabilities. That doesn’t mean some people don’t go to school and put forth zero effort and by the time they’re in high school it’s too late.

So which shooting are you claiming didn’t happen? Sandy Hook? Alex Jones is that you? Which part about school shootings is disproven?
The poor don’t push their children the same or they live in a really ****** environment, which factors into that? Do you have something to prove poor people don’t push their children? A prime example up here is Baltimore schools. Just last year several schools there had no heat/air due to breakdowns.
Even NPR agrees that school shooting stats are out right lies
The difference in parenting styles is well documented. Malcolm Gladwell (I believe that was the author) did a good job of breaking that down in the book Outliers if you’re genuinely interested. But I don’t think you are. So here’s an easy example for you to follow, who’s the better parent 99 times out of 100 a junky or a banker?
2018 is reported to have the highest number of incidents since 1970.
You stated it is well documented but did nothing to prove your statement besides stating one book. With your statement, you’re trying to say all poor people are junkies?
Reported by who? We’ve already seen a massive list of “reported” incidents that never occurred.
And how does a 40 year old end up outside of the middle class? The answer in the vast majority of cases is poor personal decisions, often related to drugs and alcohol. People who make good decisions almost always end up in the middle or upper class. Nearly 100% of the time and I can back that up.
By several different news outlets.
Vast majority of people are poor because of alcohol or drugs? Haha. What a joke.
