What have we learned, lg believes crackheads with stolen handguns committ the overwhelming majority of violent crime in this country.

Epic!

It's a very complicated problem and so I am not surprised that you cannot grasp the reasoning behind the only rational solution. Requires honest and objective thought and you are not there, yet. S'ok

Classic LG......"no one can begin to grasp my superior intellect".

kinda hard to be a bully when every one is laughing at your arse

Through his eyes though. LG hates poorly educated white people, which he thinks populates the board. So in lgs mind he is getting the dumb rednecks riled when he posts.

sig p238, yea or nay?

Lots of people aren't terribly comfortable with single-action autos and Condition One "Cocked and Locked" carry, especially if you are considering pocket carry.

Having said that I think the P238 might be the nicest of the .380's out there. I'm not a huge .380 fan though and Sig is now coming out with the P938. This is (more or less) the p238 but in 9mm. At some point I'm sure I'm going to want one.

And just to stay on topic LG tends to come across on firearm threads about the same as I might if trying to explain String Theory.

no you wouldn't. your posts wouldn't be filled with the angst of a teenage girl who stomps around the house and slams her bedroom door because her dad is "like, such a fascist" for confiscating her cell phone.

Where, counselor do crack heads get their guns?

They steal them, or trade from other crack users/dealers.

I doubt we can know definitively, but I would wager that vast majority of handguns used to kill in crimes, accidents, and suicides were originally purchased legally.

Ok, my understanding of the the events are that she gets the rifle in anticipation of the guys breaking in.But they don't break in, and are possibly oblivious to the fact that she had, or was even going to get, a rifle.

Is this on the right track? You have to watch the whole video, especially at the end where they explain that the guys jetted while she was getting the rifle (if my understanding is correct).

Basic theory of gun control:

we need to punish everyone and limit everyone's freedom because someday, someone, somewhere, might do something illegal.

Same argument applies to buying sudafed or alcohol.

Interestingly enough, the last decade has been one of, if not the biggest for private guns sales in a century... and the murder rate and violent crime rate keep going down.

Why are we not seeing a boom in murders?

It's no wonder most gun-control advocates are also Keynesians. You can't believe either one if you can't envision the seen vs the unseen.

Negative, straw purchases and guns from outside the country.

Your just trying to compensate for some inadequacies you feel in the bedroom :p

That is some great advice, thanks. I think I would prefer the 9 mm. After your post, I did some research doesn't appear it's that much bigger then the p238 either.
