UT's issue is that it doesn't really have any special players. It's got some decent/sometimes good players, but no wow players. I like Tyler Smith, but all this talk for two years about his NBA career--see the current govols story about deferring his pro career--has been a joke. He works hard and he's tough, two very good qualities, but he's a tweener who is not a natural scorer. He will be lucky to make an nba team, in my view. Chism has skills but doesn't stay in the paint when it matters; everyone else is no better than OK. I do think the whole of this team can be/is better than the sum of its parts, but teams with parts (meaning a couple of really talented players) are usually the ones that end up in the final four.
