I know the signing day was a little underwhelming for some fans but here are some available players who I believe could provide immediate impact or be quality rotation players in 2018- all just my opinion. I’m sure this list is subject to change. Anyway here are some guys right now in no particular order:

QB: Keller Chryst (Stanford)*
RB: CJ Fuller (Clemson), Tre Watson (California), Terence Williams (Baylor), Madre London (Michigan State)*
WR: CJ Sanders (Notre Dame), Raelon Singleton (Utah), Dominique Heath (Kansas State)
TE: Ian Bunting (Michigan), Kano Dillon (USF)
OL: Kevin Feder (Ohio State), Breontae Matthews (Kansas State), Justin Murphy (Texas Tech)
DL: Sterling Johnson (Clemson), Jabril Robinson (Clemson)
LB: Ricky DeBerry (Oklahoma), Jahvoni Simmons (Virginia), Brannon Berry (Illinois State)
DB: Juwan Dowels (Syracuse), Kiy Hester (Rutgers), Zeke Walker (Indiana), Terrence Alexander (Stanford)
ST: Alim Muhammad (Holy Cross)

Here's another possible OL transfer...He's originally from Gainesville, FL and went to JUCO in AZ after HS and then to Louisville in 2015 class.

YES! I'll take him. He has OL next to his name.

Two questions/observations:

- His size and appearance remind me of Dontavius Blair.

- Why couldn't he crack the starting lineup at Louisville? I did a little digging to look at depth chart and game participation for them last year. He appeared in a few games but never started.

Cause their OL was better than ours and he would probably crack our starting OL easily and we need depth and why would a starter transfer?

Would definitely take at the very least for depth. The Murphy kid from Texas Tech has some game experience FWIW. His sophomore year he started 8 games but he had some injuries. Not sure how much eligibility he has left though- might be a 1 or 2 year guy...

Dontavius Blair still has his helmet stripe. Pass.

Interesting... Harvey was a top 100 recruit in HS. Played in all but 1 game his first 3 years. Starter as a Jr. Tore ACL last spring and missed season. I suspect we are involved. Chavis at Arky and sumlin at az probably would be too

I think Tennessee will kick the tires there assuming the knee is 100%. I would want to make sure he is medically good and is back from a knee injury that cost him a year. Remember any additional grad transfers they take go against the 2019 class numbers. A number that's 23 right now if the two blueshirts arrive.

I am always confused. Is that 23 due to the 85 roster spots or could it rise back to 25 if there is attrition?

85 doesn't affect the 25. Can sign up to 25 each year. Hubs saying as it sits now we can sign up to 23 next class. Can always fwd count again to sign 25 but 23 will be the number without having to move numbers around assuming the 2 blue shirts enroll and assuming we don't sign any more Grad transfers.

“This team needs immediate help and they need long term help so it's a balancing act. I was a little surprised by them taking a running back. I would think taking a corner makes sense.

The question you have to ask with the grad transfer route is how much can they help you win in year one. Are they going to take you to 8 wins? Do you have to have them to try and get bowl eligible?

I just believe in college athletics, a scholarship is the most important item you have. And so you must be smart with them.”

We had a blueshirt (can’t remember who) and Shaquille Wiggins from last season that counted against THIS year’s class...so we were down to 23. We’ve filled that with London and Chryst. Norwood and Davis report and next year’s class is 23 also. Nothing to do with the 85.
