Some unnoticed things from Bama win

I noticed Tennessee had 12 men on the field. Don't remember the exact play, but they were in the end zone with Bama on offense.

It may have been after a flag for delay of game or illegal substition or something against Bama, which would be pretty funny not to mention ironic.

I mentioned it to the Mrs. at the time, and she didn't believe me. I rewound, paused, and went over to the TV and counted them off, twice.

Announcers, refs, and Sabin apparently didn't notice it because of whatever else was going on.
You aren't as smart as you think you are. Me either. But go vols.

You are correct; I saw it too when rewatching the game this morning. Bama didn't notice it because they called a time out.

On the winning field goal the ball was knuckling . I watched the play over again and an inside lineman for Bama hurdled the line and looked like he might have gotten a finger on it. Did any of you notice that?
Yeah! Some say had the Bama guy not touched it that perhaps he would have missed!šŸ¤£

I have rewatched it a couple of times. I noticed Flowers was burnt so often I thought he was smoking weed on the sideline. Also. Number 12 on defense was everywhere. Making plays, standing out.

Agree! I think that was on the best OL performances in a long time. The group was aggressive and spirited--fully engaged and eager to punch bama defensive linemen in the mouth.

Yes, indeed. For our justifiably vaunted passing attack, chew on these rushing stats: 42-227 and 3 tds. vs. Florida; 49-263 and 2 tds. vs. LSU; and 39-182 and 2 tds. vs. Alabama. There are no defensive slouches in there, but we are averaging, thus far, 224 ypg on the ground and 5.17 ypc against SEC competition.

- Slaughter looked better than McCullough has all season.

- Uhm.šŸ˜³...did anyone see Koolaid Mkinstry get tackled by Darnell Wright??
Yeah the sideline was an extra defender but he couldn't best the pursuit angle or shake him lol.
- Jaylin Wright all 205 lbs of him dragging Bama's LBs!
Thought it was funny that CBS kept spotlighting that Burrell and McCullough were out as if it was a huge loss. Two of the worst cover guys in UTā€™s already suspect secondary, IMO. Turns out Bamaā€™s secondary is pretty suspect too. Guys running wide open everywhere last night.

All good points. Saban having no answer on how to stop UT as well.

Last night it looked like we played man coverage more than I noticed in other games this season. I saw more contested passes from the DB's and some good solid coverage in spots. Hopefully so.ething for them to build on.

I saw that too. Bama called a timeout and saved us on that one.

If the whole secondary played with Slaughter's mindset yesterday, we'd be super dangerous. I thought our front did good but our secondary must get more physical. It's been the weakness on defense for the most part.

They need to play with more confidence. By design possibly...they're being taught to bend but don't break.

The 5 yard hitch is open EVRY freakin play....and the slant
