Something VERY important for you recruiting junkies to know....

OK, here is our stance....we do not care what your stance is. You posting this on a fan site is pure ignorance.

I got something simple for you, if you don't like what I have to say, then ignore me. That's my stance on you. In fact, let me be the first to take that step.

Why is it that there is always a moron who feels that have to talk down to someone on this board to prove their point...Absolutely uncalled for...Everyone is having a good discussion about the OPs thoughts and you feel that caaling names is the way to go..

Either learn to be in a conversation like an adult or get off this board...Ridiculous!

I agree here. You have someone that has an opinion and someone else has to disrepect it. Who cares if you agree or not, but atleast show respect. To the OP, they have concerns that might hurt UTs efforts in recruiting and are trying to inform the fans. No harm. Most sites I have been on have that part about fan/booster involvement stickied to the boards. Everyone can say what they want, but when a prospect who everybody wants tries to commit and becomes ineligible for that school because of a fan on here then we will see what is said from other posters.

The Nebraska article I linked is not as bad as some of the posters on here. They talked to the prospect. They were not financial boosters to the school or season tickets holders. They only belonged to a fan group and wore a school sweatshirt. The player in question was reinstated to commit to Nebraska after an appeal. The reason being is there was no evidence of what actually was said between the two. Both parties denied recruiting went on. The difference there and with this site are the people that post on here saying what was said. That is evidence for the NCAA.

So go become there friends, call them, or talked to them at games/camps. Remember you are only hurting the staff in their efforts to recruit and possibly your team because you feel it necessary to get some inside info on a prospect so you gain credibilty of a fan site. Because no matter how you spin it, there really is gain by your efforts for the program or the fans.

How about we start a web site where all the people that are concerned about this can forward the "questionable" posts and contacts to the NCAA compliance office. They can start a list and NIP IT NIP IT NIP IT!
