Oklahoma's record from 88~99. If you've really been a fan for 60 years, which I doubt, you would remember that run with Gary Gibbs, Schnellenberger, and John Blake. How could you forget John Blake?
Well I wouldn’t care about it either but speaking of middle of the road SEC team tell me all about it will you? You’ve still filled that great stadium ( been in the locker room) I like coming out that tunnel and goal postsNobody cares what you've done. You’re a middle of the road SEC team, get used to it.
I'm not the one sticking my chest out with all these great past accomplishments. You need to know your place, you haven't done a damn thing in this conference and no one cares anything about what you've done before.Well I wouldn’t care about it either but speaking of middle of the road SEC team tell me all about it will you? I think I know our place in college football. Should be fun.I'm not the one sticking my chest out with all these great past accomplishments. You need to know your place, you haven't done a damn thing in this conference and no one cares anything about what you've done before.
You want to talk crap and troll this board, job well done. But you're in the SEC now and only because of your past accomplishments, what you do from here forward will define who you really are. Welcome to big boy football.
If your history lessons were worth a hill of beans you’d know it wasn’t 25 years of absolute misery. It was only 17!Do you guys play Mizzou or Florida this year? My history lessons are free as well. I’ve been following OU for 60 years and we’ve never had a dry spell like you guys. I’m glad an OU guy has brought you back from Arkansas level for 25 years.
I was listening to Jake Trotter an Oklahoma (state of) guy and started here in the media and now a senior writer for college football and ESPN. He was being interviewed on the local sports talk station. He has Tenn #5. You guys I think are second to UGA. Too bad our injuries won’t likely make it competitive. The offense was not remotely expected to be this bad. But it very much is. 5 new OL starters and 2 out not a good recipe. But #2-7 top receivers out or hurt.If your history lessons were worth a hill of beans you’d know it wasn’t 25 years of absolute misery. It was only 17!
Our matchup with OU was supposed to be the most even matchup on our schedule. Injuries suck but yall will bounce back and honestly it could still very well be a great game. The odds makers seem to think it will be. I suspect Norman will be rowdy for your first SEC game and Nico is a still just a freshman so we’ll see. Regardless of how it turns out, Venables defense creates a consistency within the program that your fans should appreciate. Kentucky almost became competitive thanks to Stoops D. Obviously y’all have more resources.I was listening to Jake Trotter an Oklahoma (state of) guy and started here in the media and now a senior writer for college football and ESPN.
