As Long as we have a way to get Orion into orbit and have it dock with a centaur in LOE. Either Vulcan or Falcon Heavy could do the job with the proper adapter. But would have to be rated for human flight firstJust cancel the whole thing at this point by mid 2026 Starship will probably be ready with a full year of test flights without the FAA delaying flights with incorrect paperwork etc.. that we have seen the last 4 years.
Cancel it and use crew Dragon. Like I said if they move Artemis II to mid 2026 by the end of 2026 two years from now where is Starship in testing? I'd say by this coming July they’ll be having 2 or 3 flight tests every month. As Long as we have a way to get Orion into orbit and have it dock with a centaur in LOE. I would agree except that Dragon’s heat shield isn’t rated for reentry at the 25,000 mph.? Every other human vehicle is only designed for 17,500 orbital reentryCancel it and use crew Dragon.
