Been awhile since I've posted in here. To be honest haven't been buying that many sports cards here lately. Just become frustrated with how expensive things have become with the hobby. Really been concentrating here lately on mostly collecting Pokémon cards with my son. I did pick up a few things over the last couple months for my PC.

My son and I have really slowed down. We have turned to vintage baseball and I’m loving it! He’s coming around to it but he still likes his shiny stuff.

Best place to start with trying to collect baseball cards? Looking to actually rip packs but not sure where to start.
Find a local card shop and get your hands on Topps Chrome(update) if you can find it.
Topps (flagship) update is available and Topps Stadium Club, too, both may be a little easier to find and not as pricey as chrome.
If you have zero card shops around you, try Target or Walmart, or online.
Just know with retail (Walmart target) you probably won’t get as lucky as you would with hobby packs from a card shop.
With that said, my son and I rip very little these days and focus mostly on singles. Better bang for your buck imo.
🤷‍♂️

I’m in Knoxville if anyone has any store recommendations. Am I looking for a box of Chrome or individual packs?

My son had an unopened box of baseball cards. I just opened it and found a Jeter rookie. Any idea of its worth?
