Sports Card Collectors!

I really like the ‘59s, they are a beautiful set...but that Aaron and Matthews is ugly!!
But it’s an iconic card and I’ve been wanting it for a while.
I just missed out on the 59 Frank Robinson and Warren Spahn, so grabbed the Musial as quick as I could.

Finally opening today's mail and we have come to the point that folks are using base cards of Topps Chrome & Cosmic Chrome and regular green scotch tape to make a cardboard sleeve for the actual card you buy. We truly are in Junk Wax 2.0.

Sure are!
Breakers delight junk wax 2.0
Autographs are starting to become watered down.
Base rookie cards are an afterthought with today’s “collectors”
The only thing people are chasing is numbered junk.

Today’s breakers are the card shop owners of the late 80s
Instead of charging $80 for a Canseco rookie, they are charging $1,000 for a box of Topps chrome.

If anyone is heading up to the game stop by the famous Cardcollector2 Store.
