I kinda thought it was joke, I apologize for the "personal attack". Mine wasn't all that serious, hence including a Kelso reference from that 70's show... but back to the spring practice talk! sorry for the side track.

Apparently Von Pearson dusted Cam Sutton and housed a touchdown today on a nice throw by Ferg. Good to hear we've got some playmakers back on offense.

I know that this is just the first practice but from the videos this team looks quicker across the board. Everyone seems to have a better sense of urgency in practice than last fall. Love it!

Where is Devrin Young? I thought I saw him, but with what I've read about the dpeth charts, and Noe one saying his name...has me a little concern. Do we just have that much depth or what?

He practiced with the running backs, somewhere behind Lane and Hurd.

What was the early consensus on CP during the month he was on campus before the NC State game?

I don't remember there being a huge amount of buzz about him, other than Hunter and Rogers both praising him. Then of course he blew everyone away at the Georgia Dome.

I'm hoping that Pearson can be in the same realm as him. He's probably not quite as fast, but it seems like he's got similar quickness/elusiveness and better hands.

Is he in denial? His comments are all 'I'm fine.' I hope he is but lingering injuries aren't a good sign for any player, even moreso when he has yet to see game action and opponents who really want to kill him.

The consensus was once CP learned the plays, then watch out... Von has a big jump on him, and I fully expect him to make an impact. Totally different player than CP, but that's not a bad thing
