Spurrier to Miami speculation . . .

Evidently hat has never heard of "Antiques Roadshow." I'm not surprised. Its on PBS.

His TV is permanently set on Nickelodeon and QVC.

You think that it is outdated to view Miami as a city where the uninsured motorist population is ridiculously high? I'm assuming you live there. What's your car insurance bill?

And please, use the letter "M" for million. Its easier that way.
Insurance rates here have been no more onerous on me than anywhere else I've lived. I'm sure all the rusted out pickup trucks tooling around the northern portions of the state are well insured.

You didn't answer. How much is it and what are your limits?

My limits are 300/500, including underinsured and uninsured motorist and I pay less than $1,000 a year.

To get that coverage in Miami costs $3,000, easy.

Why am I not suprised you spend your time watching a show with a bunch of senile old goofs asking some antiques shill how much their portrait of Harry Truman is worth? That's right, you're a Steely Dan fan. You like having your entertainment provided by people wearing Depends.

All the way to Tennessee these fine lawyers have come for a good ole Florida intra-state culture war.
Seems a couple of other lawyers from out of state picked a fight in Tennessee.... Dayton, Tennessee...

Only if you aren't well connected with your insurance provider. My insurance isn't based on residency in Florida. My mother, who lives in Pompano, has a 2005 Mercedes and a 2006 BMW i3 insured down here with high limits and doesn't pay much more than you do. It's all in who you know LG.

Insurance rates are based on who you know? I've never heard that before.

Nice cars, BTW. Won't belong before you likewise take a hankering towards antiques and I imagine in 10-15 years people will similarly be rolling their eyes at you for waxing poetic about that old rock and roll band, U2.

A good insurance agent can save you a small fortune. The day I take a fancy to antiques is the day I make a call to Dr. Kervorkian.

If Fla beats Arky there is no Question in my mind they should go to the NC.

The five teams currently with a legitimate claim to be #2 are Michigan, USC, ND, Florida, and Arky.

We all know Michigan's situation.

I think ND is eliminated by having been blown out by Michigan.

If USC wins out and Florida wins out, then it depends on how they looked in doing so. Should either team struggle to win one of their two remaining games, they lose ground in the fight. USC has the upper hand, at the moment.

If USC wins out, they go over Arky based on having trounced Arky, regardless of whether Arky wins out or not.

If USC loses and Arky wins out, Arky has a great argument over ND, Arky having beaten two good teams in LSU and Florida to close out the season.

I think realistically, to overake Michigan, Florida needs to beat the crap out of FSU and beat Arky by at least 10 and they need to look like world beaters on D. That is what the hype will be about at that point -- SEC defenses. And Florida needs to take advantage of that.

Sorry hat i have to make this joke, was Miami invited to the FAMU vs Bethune Cookman game? lol

You mean "The Classic."

Are you referring to the car thefts? There were rings of thieves that targeted "tricked out" cars during the game. Same thing happened last year and they found something like 20 of the 25 that were stolen stripped down to the frames.

And they found them, incidentally, in Miami.

True but Fla has to play like they did in Kville and with LSU and if they do they have a shot. Leak better get his game crisp or all of these scenarios are useless.

Yes you are right. thats the one.

Tony Barnhardt last night said that he had asked Spurrier directly just that day(sunday) about Miami, and that Spurrier emphatically stated he had zero interest in the Miami job.

That is about as direct as it gets. Not an absolute. Close though...

Tony Barnhardt rocks.

I don't think so. The hogs will have to beat themselves. LSU has a horrible Offense. The hogs can score running or throwing. They are the best team in the SEC this year.

Few teams hit people as hard as this LSU defense does. I know I'm out on a small limb on this one, but I think Russell improvising with his WRs and a motivated defense is enough to stop the Hogs.

But then I've been underestimating Arkansas on defense all season....
